Second-year head coach Jesse Lancaster will be the head coach of the American League All-Star team, comprised of the North and East Divisions. Lancaster becomes the first Morehead City coach to selected as the head coach of an All-Star team.

Pitcher Kenny Wells (Seton Hill) will become the third Marlin to start a CPL All-Star Game in the team's nine year history. Wells joins Brad McAllister of 2010 and Cal Quantril, who started in 2014 when the festivities were hosted in Morehead City. The sophomore was chosen as the starter for the American League after receiving the most All-Star votes.

Mason rounds out the starting outfield that the Marlins used for the majority of the first-half and joins his two respective outfielder teammates on the American League roster.

Second-year Marlin Octavio Mirabal (King University) joins the pitching staff after having notched three wins this summer in 30 innings pitched.
