The two-time defending Coastal Plain League champion Morehead City Marlins have announced the hiring of a new General Manager for the franchise, Ross Combs. Combs will oversee the business operations of the Marlins, including ticket and sponsorship sales, as well as working to increase the Marlins’ presence in the Morehead City community.
On Tuesday night, the Town Council of Morehead City approved the Morehead City Marlins request to have fireworks at Big Rock Stadium during the 2021 season.
Coming off the highly successful fall high school league, Big Rock Stadium will host middle school-aged players. The four-team league will begin play on Monday, March 22nd, with games taking place at 5:30 and 7:30 every Monday and Wednesday night. Each team will play a 10-game schedule.
