MOREHEAD CITY, N.C. - The game scheduled for Wednesday, May 29 at Big Rock Stadium between the Morehead City Marlins and the Edenton Steamers has been postponed because of inclement weather.
The game has been rescheduled for June 24, when the Steamers and Marlins will play a double-header consisting of two seven-inning contests beginning at 6:05 p.m. at Big Rock Stadium.
Any ticket purchased for tonight's home-opener may be used in exchange for any other Marlins home regular season contest for the 2012 season. The ticket for the May 29 game must be shown at the ticket window to receive a new ticket.
The Morehead City Marlins are a proud member of the Coastal Plain League, the nation’s hottest summer collegiate baseball league. Celebrating its 16th season in 2012, the CPL features 14 teams playing in North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia. The CPL gives college players the chance to refine their skills with the use of wooden bats.
