Morehead City, N.C. – The Morehead City Marlins have officially launched their new website and catchphrase in advance of the highly anticipated 2012 season.
The Marlins have teamed up with PrestoSports, a Maryland based sports web design company, for a fresh new and interactive page design, so fans may now easily navigate in style.

Everything a fan needs to know about the Marlins is now in one place. This feature along with text alert and newsletter applications, are some of the many functions to the new website. Also, all information about the Marlins, from donation requests to sponsorship information to fundraising opportunities, can now be easily viewed and located through their new webpage.
“We are extremely excited with the launch of our new web page,” said Marlins general manager Chris Marmo. “We’ve wanted to modernize our image and website for quite some time and the final product is what we’ve envisioned from the beginning of the process,” continued Marmo. “The new Marlins web page will help develop the ultimate online experience for current and future Marlins fans.”
The Marlins have also launched a new marketing campaign that will feature its new catchphrase: ‘Get Hooked.’ This will now replace ‘Feel the Effect’ that has been used the previous two years.
“We’re constantly growing within the community and it’s important to have a fresh identity”, added Marmo. “We believe our new catchphrase will help update our brand and focus on the importance of our future goals.”
