Morehead City, N.C.- The Boys and Girls Clubs of Coastal Carolina will welcome the new Morehead City Marlins Baseball Team and staff to the area on May 25th.
Please support the local Boys and Girls Clubs by dining with the hometown summer collegiate baseball team. This Marlins meet and greet dinner event is sponsored by Leadership Carteret with all proceeds directly benefiting the Boys and Girls Clubs of Coastal Carolina. All are welcome to attend this BBQ dinner event with the Marlins located at the Sunshine Lady Club (Boys and Girls Club) in Morehead City from 5:30pm – 7:30pm.
Tickets can be purchased for this special event for $10 (adults) and $5 (children 12 and under). The Morehead City Marlins open their inaugural season May 28th at newly constructed Puck O’Neal Field at Big Rock Stadium. The Morehead City Marlins are the newest member of the Coastal Plain League. The Coastal Plain League is the nation’s hottest collegiate baseball league. Celebrating its 14th season, the Coastal Plain League features 15 teams playing in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia. The CPL gives players the chance to refine their skills with the use of wooden bats. Players are housed with local host families for the summer and past experiences have been very positive for both players and hosts.
